Is this sterile?!?! That's pretty much the question of the day....and I kept asking Gray if they were, and frankly, he wasn't putting up much of an understandable response. The items in question are the 2 bottles that I'm supposed to use for his afternoon feeding. If all goes well, Grayson should be able to access the milk supply direct from the manufacturer...if not, the adventure begins for both of us and sterility might be the least of our issues. I'm sure at the moment he realizes I'm going to have to feed him 'bottle-style', he'll be wishing I was the thing that was sterile.....
To start off, I'm not a blogger. I'm a new dad that needs a creative outlet during my time at home with my son to not only reflect on what's going on with us, but to hopefully give an honest account of what REAL life can be like with kids...out of the 1000 people we asked regarding 'life with children', I'm pretty sure that only 10 (Craig, being the most helpful to me) or so answered with any real reflective honesty at all. So far, it's been a huge discovery of what life can throw at you...what you can handle (when you thought you couldn't) and what you can't (period).
Well, he's on the table with one of those bouncing walker things (no worries, it can't move...), I like to keep him at eye level, so his development of looking down at people can begin early. He's chewing on things and checking out Chewy, while the new U2 blu-ray is rolling on the TV and Howard is on the radio (Gray likes Lupe's voice!). We're going to have some coffee, take a cruise to the bathroom, and then catch up with Mom at work...I'm sure by the end of the day, he'll be wondering if the OV bottles are 'sterile' and trying to figure out how to get one in me....
My kid is a genius....just like yours....
